The Digital Entrepreneur Awards (DEA) are the UK’s only national awards dedicated to internet entrepreneurialism. The awards set out to honour pioneers of the internet, as well as business leaders, and ‘technical geniuses’ in the digital world. According to their website, their mission is “to showcase the best of the web with the aim of uniting and congratulating companies that are driving forward the frontiers of business on the Internet.” In the past the awards have paid tribute to many of the industry’s elite including Sainsbury’s, Wonga and Funkypigeon.com, so we know we are in good company.
This year, the DEA reported some categories received more than 100 entries, resulting in around 80 companies making the final cut.
With its simple setup and improved search methods, we often describe Capture+ as being the next generation of international address finders, quite simply because there’s nothing quite like it on the market. For it to now be recognised, not only by our customers like Reiss who have managed to significantly reduce their cart abandonment rates, but by one of the most prestigious awards in the industry, is confirmation that our technology really is something to shout about.
So now we’ve been shortlisted, you think we would all shut down the computers and go on holiday for a week to celebrate our success. But sadly no. We’re not the type to rest on our laurels. We are frantically working hard in the background to bring you a new version of Capture+ that is even bigger and better than before – we didn’t think it was possible either! If you would be interested in BETA testing the newest version, drop Jamie Turner a tweet.
Congratulations to everyone else who has been shortlisted, we hope to see you at the event in Manchester.
Wish us luck!
